Congratulations to Anna Skelt who successfully defended her thesis titled "Strictly Concentric Magic Squares" and was awarded a PhD subject to minor changes. The examination team was Prof. Roger Whitaker (University of Cardiff) and Dr. Graeme Boswell, and the viva was chaired by Prof. Andrew Ware. Her supervisors were Dr. Stephanie Perkins (Director of Studies) and Prof. Paul Roach. Her research involved analysis of a specific subclass of magic squares where she studied novel techniques of construction and enumeration. She has presented at multiple Maths conferences and has three papers in submission/preparation.
