Welcome Dan Fretwell!

We wish a warm welcome to Dr. Dan Fretwell, who has recently joined USW as a Lecturer of Mathematics. Dan completed his PhD at the University of Sheffield in 2015, and until recently was a Heilbronn Research Fellow at the University of Bristol.

Dan specialises in Algebraic Number Theory, but also has wider research interests (e.g. Combinatorics, Probability). He works on a wide variety of problems of both practical and theoretical interest, concerning things such as elliptic curves, modular forms, lattices, quadratic forms and Galois representations (objects that firmly feature in modern Cryptography).
