Computational modelling

The Computational modelling theme encompasses investigations into modelling involving the physical, biological and social sciences, i.e. applications of dynamical systems. This includes population ecology, the spread of infectious diseases, fluid dynamics and numerical methods with meterological applications along with modelling social dynamics.

Currently work in this area is undertaken by Graeme Boswell,  Jabed Choudhury,  Paul Roach, Philip Trevelyan and John Wyburn. Work also continues with John Hayward (visiting researcher). Current and recent research students include Ayad Al-Sallo, Sara Canning and Rebecca Jeffs.
